Judy Mittino is president of the Wildcat Run Charitable Foundation. Commonly referred to as “Wildcat Cares 4 Kids,” the foundation’s mission is to improve the lives of children by increasing public awareness on the issues of poverty, child abuse and sexual trafficking in Southwest Florida. Since its inception nine years ago, more than $900,000 has been raised to support local nonprofits including the Children’s Advocacy Center of SWFL, Wings of Shelter, Guardian Ad Litem, Human Trafficking Awareness Partnerships, Valerie’s House, Interfaith Charities of SWFL, Estero Fire Rescue, Gabriel’s House and Pinewoods Elementary School.
“It is amazing what a small community like Wildcat Run Golf and Country Club has accomplished,” says Mittino. “The dedication, compassion and caring nature of its residents is remarkable.”
