That phrase will mean something differently to each reader. What a great time of the year for avid sports fans. March is the month where we have the unique convergence ball games of every kind.
Of course we have the annual ritual of Spring Training games for the Twins & Red Sox. And, we have the FGCU men’s and women’s basketball tournaments. And for those hockey fans, the final, full month of the season for our first-place Florida Everblades.
Add to that the FGCU baseball and softball games, golf, tennis and pickle ball. Something for everyone!!
This is also the time of year to participate in such annual events as the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure and our own Celebrate Estero. This year to top off the month we will also have the closing Health and Fitness Expo of the Snowbird Events. We invite you to come out, get involved, get some exercise and help our community make a difference!
This month we are happy to feature the first development in what is referred to as the ‘town center’ of the Village of Estero, Genova. Learn the how’s and why’s of this innovative community and the local involvement of its developer, Jim Wallace.
We also invite you to meet Commercial Real Estate Broker, Stephanie Miller, whose rich history in Estero is well documented. Much of the style and character of the Village of Estero can be credited to Jim & Stephanie.
Our dining feature takes us once again to France. We have uncovered another gem in L’Auberge, just at the edge of North Naples. An exquisite interpretation of French cuisine! Bon Appetite!!
We have a special offer for Estero Life Magazine readers. The Speakers Assembly of SW Florida is having a special luncheon event at Quail West on March 10, 2017. (See ad on pg. 3). Dr Eric Haura, from the Moffit Cancer Center will be speaking on Cancer Medicine and Research in the 21st Century. Call (239) 948-7909 and mention you saw the ad in Estero Life Magazine and you will receive the ‘member’ price for lunch!!
And of course you will find our usual Best Bets, ‘Happenings’, Village Life and ‘Scene’ pages to round out the March issue.
So until next month
…remember, “Life is GOOD!!”
