Two Fillets Interior

For guests seeking a filet of unsurpassed quality beef or freshly caught fish, there’s one simple destination. Two Fillets restaurant in Naples provides unique dishes with the freshest local fare in an upscale, yet coastal casual, atmosphere. The double “L” spelling of Two Fillets represents the dual land and sea specialities for which they are known.

Inside, whimsical white lights wrap around all of the white painted wood beams, and the main dining room is separated from the bar area by a gorgeous, illumined aquarium. Adorning the walls are black-and-white photos of cattle from the Phelan farm in Lockhart, Texas — where top-of-the-line American Wagyu beef is raised. Along the wall nearest the kitchen, guests can view an impressive array of beef and seafood options on ice. Dine in or purchase items from the market’s display to prepare at home.

Two Fillets is located in the former Randy’s Fishmarket location on U.S. 41 near the upscale Mercato shopping center. Completely renovated before opening two years ago, Two Fillets is owned by Phelan Family Brands, which operates 25 restaurants in southwest Florida, beginning in 1997 with the original Pinchers in Bonita Springs.

Our server, Jacob, was an encyclopedia of knowledge about the menu, with a particular passion for the steaks.

“We get our steaks from two places, our ranch in Texas and Jimmy P’s local butcher shop, which specializes in Australian beef, especially Wagyu,” Jacob said. “Australia has been breeding their black angus prime cattle with the Japanese Wagyu cattle for about 60 years now, and it’s some of the best beef you can get on the planet.”

Assistant Manager Michael Waugh has been with the Phelans for eight years and joined the Two Fillets team five months after it opened.

“The food here is phenomenal — best calamari I’ve ever had in my life,” said Waugh. “It’s a game-changer. I’ve never met anyone who didn’t love it.”

Beef and seafood may steal the spotlight, but the menu at Two Fillets contains a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts and craft cocktails to round out the dining experience. There is also a generous selection of classic and premium sides, as well as sauces for pairing with your meal.

Two Fillets is open for lunch and dinner daily, Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Choose from charming indoor seating in the main dining room or bar area, or if you prefer dining al fresco, there is outdoor space on two sides of the restaurant.

A small plates menu and happy hour is offered daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., as well as a light lunch menu until 4 p.m. With all of these fabulous options from local land and sea, Two Fillets is an excellent choice for your next dining experience.
