Become an advocate for the mental health of children in the community by attending the annual Secret Garden Gala. This inspirational event supports Kids’ Minds Matter, a Golisano Children’s Hospital initiative designed to increase awareness, erase stigma and raise funds for the many children suffering from mental and behavioral health conditions in the region.

Guests will trickle in around 5:30 p.m. to enjoy an array of hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. The event will officially commence when dinner is served at 7 p.m. There will be soft piano and harp music to accompany the festivities.

The emcee for the night will be NBC-2 News Anchor Kellie Burns. Author and mental health advocate Kevin Hines will be speaking at the gala. The issue of mental health is close to Hine’s heart as he is one of the few people who have jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge and survived.   

During the event, there will be a cash call. All proceeds raised from the gala will benefit Kids’ Minds Matter. Tickets may be purchased at leehealthfoundation.org/event/secretgarden.
