Farmers Market at Promenade at Bonita Bay
November 7, 2021 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Promenade at Bonita Bay (26795 S. Bay Drive) is ready to welcome Local Roots, LLC back to Bonita Springs for its ninth seasonal farmers market. Starting on Saturday, October 2, 2021, the outdoor farmers market will be open to the public every Saturday, from 8 a.m. to noon, through May 28, 2022.
Jean Baer and Betsy Ventura launched Local Roots in Lee County 14 seasons ago. Today, they have nine local markets — Bonita Springs, Estero, Boca Grande, Fort Myers, Sanibel and Captiva — with the Promenade being the exclusive Bonita Springs venue.
Local famers, producers and vendors will line the Promenade parking lot to sell prepared foods and drinks and lunch, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables, cut flowers and live native plants, baked goods, seafood, artisan foods, organic cheeses and guacamole, salsas and pickles, locally made honeys and jams, artwork and crafts.
Some returning vendors include:
- Flying Eagles Kombucha
- K-9 Dog Food and Treats
- Chef Robert’s Middle Eastern Foods
- Twila Mae’s Chicken Salad
- Straight from NY Bagels
New vendors include:
- Pepper Nectar Hot Sauces
- Pickles and Olives Garden
- Wally’s Chocolate
- Watermelon Green Tea
As the Promenade continues to combat COVID-19, vendors will have hand sanitizer at their booths. They encourage guests to pre-order items and make shopping lists to reduce the time they spend at the market.
