Estero Veterans Day Event
The Village of Estero held a community Veterans Day event at Estero Park on Nov. 13. Activities included children’s games, an auto show, the New Horizon Children’s Choir and patriotic melodies by Lindsay Graham. The guest speaker was Lee Country Commissioner Ray Sandelli, a Navy veteran and former Blue Angel. Colors were presented by the Estero High School ROTC, and the Lee County Sheriff’s Department Drum and Bugle Corps conducted a 21-gun salute. The highlight is always a tribute to veterans of all branches of the Armed Forces.
