Calling all runners! Celebrate the 4th of July by running, walking, or cheering for participants at the Firecracker 5K. The race starts at 7 a.m. on July 4 at Fleischmann Park, and is a double loop course through Lake Park. The morning’s event includes a T-shirt at packet pick-up and a finisher medal after the Age Group Awards. A kids race will take place at 6:45am, and gather at the finish line at 6:40am.  This is a half mile loop that starts and ends at the 5k finish line balloon – no sign up is necessary. Proceeds of the GCR Firecracker 5K will go to the Gulf Coast Runners Youth Development Fund. Visit the run signup website below to learn more.
