Celebrating the Holidays in Paradise!
Gary Israel
This holiday season, the community is pulling out all the stops to celebrate in a BIG way on Saturday, Dec. 7, with a day-long celebration that will be even grander that our traditional “Light Up Estero” of years past. The Rotary Club of Estero and the Greater Estero Chamber of Commerce are collaborating with Coconut Point Mall as they host the 2nd Annual Holiday Celebration and Tropical Parade featuring live music, a car show, vendors, food tents and a parade down Fashion Drive!
The party begins with the car show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and continues into the night with the arrival of Santa Claus. Check out our cover story for the exciting details. We invite every Estero resident to join the fun as we kick off the holiday season!
The good times continue with another BIG occasion this month. Happy Birthday, Estero!!!
On the final day of December 2024, the Village of Estero officially turns 10 years old as a municipality. In this month’s Village Connection, we share the details of the events leading up to Estero’s incorporation on Dec. 31, 2014. To celebrate this milestone anniversary, the Village of Estero will host a community celebration in March 2025.
As Estero Life Magazine continues to celebrate our 14 years in publication and nearly 180 dining features, we offer you our tantalizing annual review of the year’s most outstanding dishes from local restaurants. We hope you have already tried a number of these unique restaurants, but if you missed them the first time around, we invite you to explore these locales for some incredible dining this holiday season and into the new year.
May God keep you and yours safely in his loving hands as we conclude another year. Happy Hanukkah to our Jewish friends and a very blessed and Merry Christmas to those who celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus.
On behalf of my wife, Ann Marie, Managing Editor Cheryl Mandell, Copyeditor Laura Cummings, Art Director Kris Kasten, our editorial contributors and our production partners at Presstige Printing, I wish you all a very healthy, happy and promising New Year!
Until next time, remember to…
Enjoy the Good Life, Estero Life!!
