Save the Date for Annual Food Fest

For 24 years, The Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Noon has produced one of the most anticipated community events in our area: the annual Taste of Bonita. Presented by Lee Health, this “taste” festival invites guests to sample a wide variety of delicious food and drink from many of Southwest Florida’s most popular restaurants, ranging from familiar “Mom ’n’ Pop” hangouts to elegant eateries. This hometown event at beautiful Riverside Park attracts year-round residents and seasonal visitors alike.

Visitors can enjoy a full day of fun deciding which tempting flavors to try. Choose comforting standards like pizza, wings, and salads, or go for flavorful twists on a variety of international dishes paired with a refreshing margarita, beer, wine or soda. Need something sweet to make your day complete? Try a dessert for the perfect ending to your outdoor festival meal.

The good times don’t have to end with your dining adventure. Taste of Bonita is also well-known for great live entertainment with plenty of space to dance, plus a large children’s play area with exciting games and rides. A favorite local band, Backlash, will perform Sunday, bringing a mix of classic rock, blues and original music for the crowd to enjoy.

One of the largest hometown festivals in our area, the annual Taste of Bonita is the main fundraising event for The Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Noon. Your participation helps local Rotarians assist in many charitable projects such as high school scholarships and local assistance programs, as well as worldwide efforts to provide clean water, wheel chairs, and lifesaving heart operations to those in need in developing countries.

“Every year, our attendees have a wonderful time trying both new and familiar tastes while being entertained and enjoying themselves in beautiful downtown Bonita Springs. That fact, in and of itself, is incredibly gratifying,” says Taste of Bonita co-chair Rob Grady. “But for me, the best part of putting on the annual Taste of Bonita is the amazing amount of service work our Rotary club can do because of the proceeds from the event. I continue to be humbled that I am part of such a talented team of servant-minded leaders like those in Rotary.”
