Wandering Mickey Minstrels of Riverwoods
“Disney Comes to Riverwoods” was the theme of this year’s parade kicking off festivities for the annual Riverwoods Senior Olympics. The Riverwoods Plantation Photo Club annually hosts a photo contest to document the event, and this year’s winner was Art Westelaken, a native of Canada who winters in Estero. His shot of the “Wandering Mickey Minstrels” captures the spirit of the well-attended parade. The Riverwoods Senior Olympics raised over $6,500 for charitable causes.
