Estero’s American Idol Finalist Casey Bishop makes Top 5!

America voted Casey Bishop into the Top 5 after two flawless performances on Mother’s Day. On Sunday, May 16, she’ll be vying for a spot in the Top 3!

Estero, get ready to vote for our homegrown rock star!! If Bishop makes the Top 3, she’ll be in Southwest Florida for a FREE hometown concert on May 18.

Singing Coldplay’s “Paradise” and Alanis Morisette’s “Ironic” last week, Bishop was in her element, exploding onstage with her energy level.

“There’s my little whirlwind!” Katy Perry said in wide-eyed approval. She said Bishop was “possessed by personality” with her hair flying, “moving around like a little tornado.”

Lionel Richie compared Bishop’s performance to watching a little bird flying.

And Luke Bryan keeps affirming his initial prediction that Bishop would become THE American Idol.

“I’ve never heard you deliver a bad note this whole competition,” he said. “You keep delivering night after night.”

“Keep bringing that kind of stage presence and energy, and I promise it’s gonna work,” Perry said.
