That’s right. The Village Council of Estero will soon be three years seated, and we are going to celebrate BIG TIME!! Check out the details on Page 9 of this issue. Share with everyone you know and encourage them to come out and join in the excitement!
For all you tennis buffs out there, there are two outstanding tennis events this month. First is the ProShot Tennis Pro-Am at Shadow Wood on March 9 & 10, followed by Madisen’s Match, benefitting Pediatric Oncology at the Golisano Children’s Hospital, to be held March 18-19 at Miromar Lakes and Suncoast Credit Union Arena. You can read the details inside.
Can you tell me who Robert Marlanski, Jakub Adamowicz, or Greg Gottried are? Probably not, but you may someday. These three FGCU students (two are graduates) have hit the BIG time thanks to the exciting Runway Program at Florida Gulf Coast University’s Institute of Entrepreneurship. Check out their successful businesses in this month’s cover story.
Also this month, we offer double the dining news. First is the introduction of some “Quick Bite” options for those on the run. Find out what Bahia Bowls, Duck Donuts, MidiCi and Sospiri are all about. It’s always fun to try something new!
Next, our dining feature explores the health-driven offerings of Dr. Andrew Weil’s True Food Kitchen. The menu has been created around his teachings on eating a healthy, non-inflammatory diet. The result is both delicious and creative!
We also celebrate the Estero High School Girls Soccer team for winning the District Championship. Good luck in state competition!
And our Village Connection this month will help you know who to call when you have an issue. Each Council member focuses on specific “areas of strategic concern.”
We hope you enjoy all of these stories plus our Best Bets, Happenings and Scene on Site photos from recent events. See you at the 3rd Anniversary Party!!!
So until next month remember to…
Enjoy the Good Life: Estero Life!
