The nationally recognized Louisville Slugger Warriors National Amputee Baseball Team will face off against the SWFL Naples All-Stars in an exciting doubleheader at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Admission is free\, though seating is limited\, so guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.  \nThe Team \nThe Louisville Slugger Warriors are a nationally sponsored competitive amputee baseball team consisting of U.S. Military Veterans\, Active Duty personnel\, Wounded Warriors and current and former amputee college baseball players. These highly skilled athletes play in national and regional baseball tournaments around the country and in special baseball game events\, all against-able bodied teams.   \nU.S. Army veteran and Estero resident David Van Sleet\, who serves as general manager\, thought baseball would be a great way to fulfill childhood dreams for veterans who lost limbs in service or through accidents or disease.  Athletic skill puts these players on the team\, but their passion keeps them there. The chemistry created by their shared bond adds magic to each and every Louisville Slugger Warriors game.

Don’t miss this celebration of the breadth and depth of chamber music—and final Grand Piano Series recital of the season. \nThis presentation is part of the Grand Piano Series. \n  \nFormed in Berlin in 2003 by violinist Annette von Hehn\, cellist Stefan Heinemeyer and pianist Thomas Hoppe\, the ATOS Trio has established itself as one of the finest piano trios performing before the public today. With distinguished interpretations and unbridled enthusiasm\, with absolute dedication and always enthrallingly genuine\, the ATOS Trio continues to delight audiences at concerts around the world. \nAfter intensive studies with Ilan Gronich\, Menahem Pressler and the Alban Berg Quartet\, the Trio won the Deutsche Musikwettbewerb\, the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award and the Melbourne Chamber Music Competition. A New Generation Artists selection from the BBC and a Boletto Buitoni Award for artistic excellence soon followed.
