Carolina Sardi is an Argentinean Sculptor established in Miami in 1995. She earned her Masters Degree in Sculpture at the National University of La Plata, Argentina, while studying Architecture and Urbanism there as well along with Sculpture with the artist Enio Iommi.

 

Carolina believes we are continually interacting with one another and in doing so we become who we are.  Essential shapes embody collective ideas and they can be discovered through her compositions.  An abstract form is rarely void of significance. Her work carries meaning without sacrificing formalism.

 

The use of a material as raw as steel, transformed into a polished medium is a reflection of labor intensive and repetition. Color, or the abstract of it, is used to emphasize the strength of each shape with the placement of each piece in a space then creating the art expression. Subjects and messages are open to personal interpretations creating interactions in the art experience. The spectator brings forth multiple ways of reading each composition.
