It’s that time again, the 13th Annual Scarecrows in the Park and Fall Festival at Lakes Park is here!  Stroll through the pumpkin patch, delight in bounce houses, hayrides, concessions and of course, the Halloween Express train.  The ever-popular Scarecrows In The Park will be exhibited October 14th through 30th throughout the Children’s Garden.

All scarecrows will be dressed as characters from a movie – Marilyn Monroe with a billowing skirt, Dracula, a favorite Disney or Marvel character and so much more will be displayed along the garden paths. A team of VIP judges will select their prize winners on Opening Night, October 14th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and people’s choice voting will continue throughout the two-week festival.  Proceeds from this anticipated event benefit park-enhancing projects and programs funded and managed by the Lakes Park Enrichment Foundation.  For information, please visit www.lakespark.org.
