Estero’s churches are joining together for the National Day of Prayer from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Legacy Church. This year’s theme is Unity. The National Day of Prayer was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of Congress. The first Thursday of May is set aside for all Americans to pray for their nation. Estero’s event will also include prayer for local elected officials and first responders.
