Ghost Walk

Have you ever wondered about the interesting people behind the old Korsehan community? The Koreshans brought culture and industry to Southwest Florida, owning and operating nearly thirty businesses in the Historic Settlement, but what was life really like for this group of settlers?  For more than twenty-five years, Koreshan State Park and Friends of Koreshan have offered guests a unique glimpse into the life and times of Dr. Cyrus Teed, eccentric founder of the Koreshans, and other important members of their community with the theatrical production, Ghost Walk

In each one-hour performance, park volunteers in period costumes guide you through a historical journey along the candlelit shell paths of the Historic Unity Settlement. Notable re-enacted Koreshan figures include Gustav Damkohler, whose riverfront land provided the Koreshans a new home; Professor Eleanor Castle, one of the Seven Sisters of the Planetary Court who managed the Koreshan Unity; Victoria Gratia, the “Motherhood Empress of the Imperial Dominion of Koreshanity” and of course, the famous leader, Dr. Cyrus Teed.

Stroll past restored buildings from a bygone era and enjoy other re-enactors performing scenes from the Koreshans’ lives before, during and after they settled in Southwest Florida.

Ghost Walk 2022 showtimes are 6:45, 700, 7:15, 7:30, 7:45 and 8:00 p.m. on January 28 and 29 and February 4 and 5.  Tickets are $25.00 and are available online. Performances sell out quickly, so register online at today!
