Eva’s Closet & Foundation, a not-for-profit organization devoted to providing necessities and support to children, families, and local schools in need in Southwest Florida, with grace, honor, and respect, will hold its 2019 Back to School Fundraiser on Saturday, July 28 at Momentum Brewhouse, located at 28120 Hunters Ridge Blvd., Bonita Springs, Florida.

The family-friendly event starts at noon and runs to 10 pm. There will be face painting and raffles throughout the day, H-Anger Management Food Truck will be onsite, and live music from Yabo Brothers band from 6 – 9 pm.

Eva’s Closet will be collecting backpacks and back-to-school supplies at the event. Guests will receive a free beer when they bring a backpack filled with three back-to-school supply items (for example, notebooks, crayons, markers, highlighters, Kleenex packs, etc.). All proceeds from the sales of Momentum’s special brew “Eva’s Ale” during the event will be donated to Eva’s Closet.

“The team at Momentum Brewhouse continues to be a great support for our mission at Eva’s Closet,” says Jessica Goodall, Founder and Director of Eva’s Closet. This is the third year Momentum Brewhouse has hosted the Back to School fundraiser for the organization.

Eva’s Closet & Foundation currently assists 1,000 clients per month, providing clothing, school uniforms, shoes, household items, food, and baby supplies at no cost. The agency provides essential items, supportive services and case management to children and  families in need in Southwest Florida. Eva’s Closet is named after Eva Engel, Jessica Goodall’s great aunt, who was a founder of a shelter for abused women and children in Worcester, Massachusetts.
