Engage Estero Public Forum on Traffic Congestion

April 16 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Learn the Reasons for Traffic Congestion, the Problems, Potential Solutions, and What You Can Do

Engage Estero is presenting a free public forum at Estero High School auditorium on Tuesday, April 16 at 6p.m. to discuss traffic congestion, identify problems, and share potential solutions we can employ individually, as a Village, or as a county. Population growth is putting pressure on our roads and current residents. Everywhere we look, we see the symptoms of congestion.

Effective traffic congestion solutions require a collaborative approach involving experts, community members, and policymakers. The forum will feature several local experts to tackle this important growing issue.

During The Meeting, We Will Examine:

  • The key issues that have led to the current congestion in Greater Estero
  • Why it can take many years to make changes to the road structure even after the problem is identified
  • Why road widening along East Corkscrew is slow to catch up with the developments taking place
  • What can be done to create a positive impact by helping to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow? What are the solutions?

This public forum is free, but reservations are needed. RSVP here.
