Hypertufa is a lightweight concrete mixture comprised of Portland cement, perlite, water and peat moss. The mixture can be poured into a mold or hand sculpted to create a variety of long-lasting garden containers. In this popular two-part class, participants will make two hanging 4” diameter planter orbs. The Edison orbs are perfect for attaching tillandsia, small orchids, and bromeliads. All supplies are included, but we recommend participants bring a pair of gloves. Retired art instructor and volunteer, Jim Hopton, will teach the class. The class is limited to 10 students.
