Head to City Tavern in downtown Fort Myers for an unforgettable Independence Day celebration! On July 4 from 4 -10 p.m., this festive evening celebrates 250 years, packed with food, fun, fireworks, and community spirit! Best of all, it’s for a great cause. This year’s event proceeds benefit Family Initiative, a local nonprofit supporting youth with autism and their families. Highlights of the evening include a chili dog eating contest at 6 p.m. hosted by Chef Brian Duffy, live music, dancing, drinks, games, and other family-friendly fun, and a fireworks show at 9 p.m. Come celebrate America’s birthday with a bang — and a chili dog!
