3rd Annual Make-A-Wish Spring into Action Gala

With a commitment to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, Make-A-Wish Southern Chapter will host its third annual Spring into Action Gala on Wednesday, March 5 at Greyhawk at Golf Club of Everglades in Naples with presenting sponsor, Dillard’s Coastland Center. The memorable night will commemorate three Make-A-Wish previous recipients including Lauren Heaslip, who is in remission following a long battle with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma; Logan Stryker who lost his battle in 2024; and Brooke Einstein, who was born with congenital heart disease.
Guests will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of silent auction items, including jewelry, signed memorabilia, golf trips, and local dining experiences. Throughout the evening, there will be a variety of gourmet passed hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, music from Naples’s favorite DJ Evrsol, and a special live art performance.
All guests will have the opportunity to participate in a LIVE ceremonial butterfly release, at sunset, that symbolizes honor, memory, and transformation for those who are currently battling or have overcome a critical illness.
All net proceeds from ticket sales, donations, and silent auction items will be donated to the Make-A-Wish South Chapter to continue granting wishes.
Make-A-Wish Southern Florida has a sole mission: Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Started in 1983 by the Plantation Junior Woman’s Club, the Southern Florida chapter has granted more than 13,000 wishes. With a vision to grant the wish of every medically eligible child in our territory, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida grants more than 625 wishes to local children with critical illnesses each year. The chapter also grants an additional 200+ wishes in collaboration with other chapters, when children come to the South Florida territory to experience their wishes. Make-A-Wish Southern Florida serves children and families in 22 Florida counties in Southeast and Southwest Florida, the Tampa Bay and Suncoast regions and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
