Bark for Life
On a beautiful, sunny Saturday, before the novel coronavirus forced social distancing, members of the community and their favorite canines joined together in support of the American Cancer Society. Bark for Life took place on Feb. 15, 2020, near Florida Blue at Coconut Point Mall. Rescue groups were able to share their furry friends and, hopefully, inspire some adoptions. The event included a parade of adoptable dogs, a human-versus-dog food challenge, several vendors, children’s activities and more. People and pets who attended demonstrated their desire to help in the fight against cancer.
